CGMS engages with spacecraft operations community on Space Weather activities at SpaceOps 2021 Conference

CGMS Space Weather Coordination Group chairs and rapporteur engaged with the spacecraft operations community at the SpaceOps 2021 Conference through the published paper: “Efforts to Improve Global Operational Space Weather Service Effectiveness by the Coordinated Group of Meteorological Satellite Operators” and supporting presentation. In particular, the SWCG reaches out to third party operators (government and commercial) to support the establishment of a space weather spacecraft anomaly database, as well as requesting feedback on operational capabilities and needs to enable the end-to-end improvement of global space weather services derived from in-orbit sensors.

(The dedicated presentation is available on the CGMS-49 SWCG agenda under item 10).
