The 54th CGMS plenary session will be held on 2-4 June 2026 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Participation: The meeting is on invitation only, open to CGMS members, observers and invited guests.

Preliminary agenda:

The 54th CGMS plenary working group sessions will be hosted by EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany, on 13-17 April 2026.

Participation

The meeting is for members of CGMS working groups WGI, WGII, WGIII, WGIV and SWCG, together with representatives from CGMS space agencies, WMO and IOC-UNESCO, the CGMS International Science Working Groups, as well as guests (on invitation only).

The working group meetings will be held in person, and we strongly encourage CGMS members to come to Darmstadt. Limited hybrid facilities will be provided.

1. Scanned copy of the passport information page. Please ensure that the scan is clear, and all details are legible;
2. Specify the city where you will apply for the visa at the Chinese embassy; and
3. Indicate the cities of departure and return. (There are direct flights from Beijing and Shanghai to Xian with less than 3 hours’ duration. There are also high-speed trains from Beijing to Xian but not necessarily close to the airport).
