Following consultation with CGMS members and the host, WMO, we are now pleased to confirm that the 50th CGMS plenary session will be held face-to-face in WMO, in Geneva, Switzerland, from 15-17 June 2022, from 06:00-12:00 UTC / 08:00-14:00 CEST (local time) on a daily basis. Remote access will be enabled for those not able to join in person.
We are also working on extending the agenda. Space agency members will be invited to present a more detailed report on the latest status and in particular on future plans; the working group and selected ISWG reports will be made; a longer session on climate and greenhouse gases is foreseen; and we are considering other topics in view of the now longer duration of the meeting.
The date of the CGMS-50 special anniversary event, currently scheduled on 21 June, will be confirmed in the coming days.
